In conjunction with our Cato Team, our Parents & Friends Association held our first quarterly Baking Night in support of the Box Hill Community Bake House.
Families gathered in our hospitality kitchen to bake delicious biscuits filled with all sorts of additions from smarties to marshmallows!
The Bakehouse aims to minimise food waste and support the community by providing free bread and other goods to the local community at their weekly pick-ups. It has become a wonderful community staple in Box Hill, an organisation the College is delighted to support.

Our Year 9 Service Week Exhibition Night saw our community gather to celebrate the incredible work of our Year 9 students during the Service Learning Week. This exhibition night, filled with inspiration and heart, provided students with a platform to share their learning experiences and showcase the meaningful impact of their service work.
During Service Week, our Year 9 students partnered with various community organisations, including The Good Box, Aged Care facilities, Eat Up, St Kilda Mums, Sunflower Walk, Clean Up Australia, and many others. These partnerships allowed students to step into real-world roles, understand community challenges, and engage in hands-on projects that make a difference. The exhibition night allowed students to creatively present their projects and express how their service work broadened their perspectives and strengthened their commitment to contributing positively to society.

Our Year 11 VET Cookery and Year 7 Food Studies put a smile on our staff's faces as they held a 'Kindness Morning Tea' last week! Between the delicious sandwiches, chocolate puddings, brownies and 'Kindness Messages' by our Year 7 students, our staff certainly felt that extra bit special for the day!

We are proud to announce that our students have once again excelled at the Whitehorse Art Show, held in conjunction with the Box Hill Rotary. This achievement continues our long-standing relationship with Rotary, supporting their important work and events within the community. A selection of work from four talented students across Years 10 to 12 was entered into the competition, and for the third consecutive year, Kingswood students have achieved top honours in the student category.
Congratulations to Miriam Spinosa (Year 12), who secured second place with her stunning Unit 4 watercolour, 'Untitled', and a special congratulations to James Macleish (Year 11), who placed first with his evocative watercolour, 'Alone, but not Lonely'.
Each year we continue to be impressed by the quality of skill and innovative ideas produced by our students!
